I believe that either ModifyDate and/or ModifyDate need to be changed to match the FileModifyDate but so far I have been unable to achieve this. $exiftool -time:all -a -G0:1 -s produces the following output: I have tried various combinations of jhead and exiftool but with no success. I would prefer to fix the date issues before they are imported into digiKam (or any other application) to ensure that the changes are made to the source files and not just updated in the application’s internal database. How can I file these images in the chronologically-correct order? InĭigiKam these images from 1999 are displayed in 2015 (but with a modify date in 4 January 1999). I have a group of image files from 1999 that have been moved across various photo applications during their life (Aperture, Lightroom, now digiKam) and have accumulated various dates in their metadata. New digiKam user here (version 5.9.0 GNU/Linux) with an image date problem.
